Gameplay
In the Clue Phase, all players give 1 clue about their art. In the Guess Phase, players take turns guessing who has which Role – either an owner of one of the art pieces or a Fraud. Repeat the Guess Phase until only 1 player's Role remains.
Gain points for guessing correctly or for having people guess your role incorrectly.
The Strategy of Frame
Frame is a social game. You can cheat by saying clues that do not describe your art, and people may be fooled once by your shenanigans. But, do not be surprised if they no longer trust your clues going forward. The real strategy is choosing clues that compete with the other clues in order to draw in guesses. Try thinking up a story or explanation for your clue.
