About the game

Forbidden Bards at Mungevania Music Festival is a one-page tabletop RPG. It contains all the rules needed to play in a single page.

You are a band of musical, magical Bards seeking your next big break. You hear of a big music festival in the Kingdom of Mungevania, a small but influential nation state. All the big names will be there and this is your time to shine. There's just one problem: magic people are totally illegal here, on pain of execution.

Magic Spells

Every bard can cast spells like Message, Move, Harm or Restore and get additional spells -- such as Animal Speech or Illusion -- based on the Instrument they play and their style of Voice.  Each time you cast a spell, your Magical Aura increases, and so does your risk of getting caught! Use magic to solve problems but be careful who might be watching.
